The number of students choosing Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics is steadily declining. In order to boost the UK economy there needs to be an increase in STEM students.

Sunday afternoon walks, a favourite film, a glass of wine with a civilised meal...how many busy science teachers do you know that would like to regain these luxuries?

Stemit can provide science teachers with a portal to well-resourced, diverse and relevant bank of Science materials. Resources are being added to daily.

By providing teachers with lots of exciting & innovative IT based STEM lesson resources we hope to help teachers recapture the fun of Sunday afternoons....

Stemit is a not for profit organisation working with the Royal Academy of Engineering, supported by the Royal Society and sponsored by the Lloyd's Register Educational Trust, the University of Southampton and the University of Birmingham and a number of blue chip companies who are passionate about STEM careers.
